GAME DESIGN
NetEase Games Montreal is the brand new division of NetEase Games. a leading game developer and publisher focusing on delivering top quality mobile and online gaming experiences. We're currently seeking Script Writer for our next AAA project to assist the Narrative Director in developing and writing a compelling game narrative.
* Developing fully realized, emotionally compelling characters, factions, situations, backstory and dialogues.
* Help develop mechanics and features that support and convey the interactive story, in collaboration with the design and writing teams.
* Writing any or all aspects of the story bible, game bible, and game script (both dialogs and texts).
* Collaborate effectively with various departments to push the limits of story design and integration in the game.
* Assist with the technical integration/implementation of story elements throughout the entire production process.
* 5+ years of experience writing for video games, or equivalent proven experience in fictional writing.
* 5+ years of experience writing for video games, or equivalent proven experience in fictional writing.
* Minimum of 1 published title, preferably a AAA title.
* Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
* Excellent knowledge about pop-culture, games and movies.
